The Bergamot

Bergamot fruit oil (Citrus Aurantium Bergamia) is what distinguishes this variant from the rest of the range. Cold-pressed from the rind of the bergamot orange, it has a scent profile that sits between citrus and floral with a warmth that makes it considerably more sophisticated than a straight lemon or orange oil. It carries naturally occurring Limonene, Citral, and Linalool, all of which are declared on the INCI. The oil has mild antiseptic properties that are useful in a lip and skin balm context, and the scent carries pleasantly without being heavy.

The oil base beneath it follows the same structure as the other Almighty Balms: castor oil for slip and staying power, mango seed butter and shea butter for nourishment, avocado and watermelon seed oils for absorption, hemp seed oil for its calming quality on irritated skin, and rice bran wax for structure. A pea-sized amount is enough for most applications.

What This Isn't
