Seep Eco Sponge Cloths | Pack of 4

Four sponge cloths, four different designs, and a material combination that makes them considerably more useful than a paper towel and considerably less wasteful. Made from 70% FSC-certified wood pulp cellulose and 30% repurposed cotton from fashion industry waste, these cloths absorb well, dry quickly, go in the dishwasher or washing machine, and compost at end of life. Use them with our kitchen soap bar for a complete plastic-free surface cleaning setup.

What These Do

The cellulose and cotton construction makes these cloths highly absorbent for their size: Seep state each cloth can absorb 13 times its own weight in liquid and replace up to 15 rolls of paper towels over its working life. They are quick-drying between uses, which keeps them hygienic and extends their life, and the designs make them visually good enough to leave out on the kitchen counter rather than hiding them under the sink.

The repurposed cotton content is worth noting: the fibres come from fashion industry waste rather than virgin cotton, which reduces the raw material demand compared to a standard cotton-blend cloth. The designs are printed in water-based inks rather than conventional pigments.

How to Use and Care For Them

Use wet for wiping surfaces, soaking up spills, and general kitchen and household cleaning. Dry out fully between uses to prevent mould, which is the single most effective way to extend their working life. Freshen up in the dishwasher top rack or washing machine at 30°C. When worn out, cut into smaller pieces and add to a home compost bin. All packaging and leaflets are fully recyclable.
